Transit Visa from Nigeria to Tanzania Description

This Visa is issued to foreigners for the purpose of transiting through Tanzania to another destination outside the United Republic.
It takes about 5 to 7 days to process this visa.
Transit visa is valid for a period not exceeding 7 days.
The applicant of this visa is required to provide proof of an entry visa of the next country and/or onward ticket.
Transit Visa is only for travelers who are passing through Tanzania, and cannot be used for tourism purposes.
An Applicant can make payment of visa fee online through one of the following methods:

After making the payment, the Applicant will receive a notification that his payment has been received and will wait for visa approval before embarking on the journey.
Tanzania visa costs 30 USD which should be paid during the visa application.
Applicants whose visa applications have been approved are required to enter Tanzania through the five specified Entry Points, which are:

Nigerian passport with at least 6 months validity and one blank page for stamping.
Completed and signed visa application form.
Two recent passport photographs with white background.
Invitation letter.
Recent bank statement.
Accommodation reservation.
Letter of introduction.
Onward/ return flight ticket.
Visa fees.
Tax clearance.
Marriage and childbirth certificate if applicable.
Yellow fever vaccination certificate.
Business registration certificate.
Documents (proof of assets, family pictures) confirming return to home country.
Travel itinerary.
Refusal notice from other embassies, if any.
