  • Afghanistan business visa is issued to foreign nationals who intend to travel to Afghanistan for business purposes.
  • A visa application form must be fully completed. The application form must be accurately completed as incomplete application forms may delay the processing of your visa application or lead to outright denial.
  • You are required to send 2 recent passport-size photographs (2x2 inches) with your completed visa application form.
  • Your Nigerian passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date from Afghanistan.
  • You should submit an invitation letter from a partner company in Afghanistan. The letter should state the purpose of your visit, how long you intend to stay in the country and who will be responsible for your expenses while in the country.
  • A business letter from your employer stating your name, your role in the company and the purpose of your travel to Afghanistan should be submitted.
  • You are also required to provide a copy of your most recent bank account statements as proof that you are financially able to cater to your needs while in Afghanistan.
  • Proof of hotel accommodation for the entire duration of your stay in Afghanistan should also be provided.
  • You should note that the visa allows a maximum stay of 30 days and must be used within 3 months of its issuance.
  • If there exists proof of previous business dealings between your company and the partner Afghan company such as bills of lading, receipts of payments for good delivered, you should provide such documents supporting these.
  • If you intend to travel to Afghanistan for investment or other business purposes, you must submit the following documents:
    • Introduction or permission letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chamber of Commerce, or other related official bodies.
    • Work permit and business license.
    • Address of the company.
    • Documents providing the type of commercial activities, payment of taxes and bank account number.

  • Proof of hotel or private accommodation for the entire duration of stay in Afghanistan.
  • Copy of return flight ticket to country of origin.
  • Documentation showing applicants ties to Nigeria either as an employee, a student or a business owner.
  • Original copy of the birth certificate for minors and letter of consent from parents.
  • Letter from a certified medical institution in Nigeria showing a clean bill of health.
  • Proof of paid visa fee.
