Third Mainland Bridge was built in 1990 to connect the mainland to the island. It is notable as the link between the mainland and the island.

Built by Julius Berger Nigeria PLC in 1990.

The Third Mainland Bridge is one of the three bridges in Lagos connecting Lagos Island to the mainland. It is the longest of the three, the remaining two being the Carter Bridge and the Eko bridge.
