This visa allows applicants to visit Canada for the purpose of tourism and leisure. A Canada tourist visa is also known as Canada visitor visa or Canadian Temporary Resident Visa (TVR).   The Canada tourist visa is granted for a maximum period of six months. Canada tourist visas are of two types: single entry visa and multiple entry visas. Both the visas are valid for a fixed period and cannot be used after they expire. A single entry visa allows the visa holder to enter Canada just once. After the visa holder leaves Canada, except for travelling to the United States and St. Pierre and Miquelon, he or she will need a new visa to enter Canada again. If the tourist is travelling to the United States (including its territories and possessions) or St. Pierre and Miquelon, he or she will not need a new visitor visa to return to Canada. A multiple entry visa allows a visitor to come and go from Canada for six months at a time without having to reapply each time. The multiple entry visa can be valid for up to 10 years, or one month before the visa holder’s passport expires, whichever happens earlier.

The visitor visa is issued to foreign nationals who intend to enter the Republic of Armenia for tourism visiting relatives or friends, business purposes, medical treatment or for recreational purposes. The visitor visa is issued for a single entry into Armenia but applicants may also apply for a multiple-entry visa. If you are visiting friends or relatives residing in Armenia, you are to obtain a letter of invitation from them. The letter should state the purpose of your travel, your relationship with your host, how long you intend to stay in Armenia and the contact details of your host. If you are travelling for business purposes, you must present a letter of invitation from the partner company in Armenia. This letter must clearly state the purpose of your travel, how long you will stay in Armenia and who will be responsible for your expenses while in the country. The invitation letter must be approved by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a notarized copy must be presented at the embassy where your visa application will be processed. For business visitors, if there exists proof of previous business relations between your company and the partner company in Armenia, such as bills of lading or payment receipts for goods received or other such documents, you should provide such documents. There are two types of single-entry Armenian visitor visa. The one allows a stay for up to 21 days and costs $6 while the other allows a stay for up to 120 days and costs $31. There are also two types of multiple-entry Armenian visitor visa. The one is valid for 6 months but allows a stay of up to 60 days and costs $41. The other is valid for 1 year but allows a maximum stay of 120 days and costs $83. Regardless of the visa type you apply for, the visa fee is non-refundable.

Nigerians who want to travel to the UK for tourism, vacation, sightseeing or other leisure activities are eligible to apply for the Standard Visitor visa. The Standard Visitor visa also allows Nigerians to visit friends or relatives residing in the UK. You must show that you intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit by submitting a copy of your return flight ticket to Nigeria. You are required to show that you are able to support yourself or any dependents financially for the duration of your stay in the UK by providing any of the following documents: copies of your most recent bank statements. proof of earnings such as a letter from your employer confirming your employment details. The letter must also state the start date of your employment, your salary and role in the company and the company’s contact details. if a third party in the UK will be sponsoring your trip, you should provide documents to show that they have sufficient resources to support you in addition to themselves. If you are employed, you re required to provide details of your employment in the form of a letter from your employer on the company’s letterhead stating your role, salary and length of your employment. If you are studying full-time in Nigeria, you should submit a letter from your school on the school’s letterhead confirming your enrolment and leave of absence. If you are self-employed, you are to submit proof of your business registration. This proof should confirm the business owner’s name and the date the business started trading. You are advised to get a travel medical insurance that will cover the entire duration of your stay in the UK if you don’t already have one. If you are visiting friends or relatives in the UK, getting a letter of invitation from them might help your visa application. The Standard Visitor visa usually allows its holder to stay in the UK for up to 6 months unless otherwise stated. This visa does not allow you to work in the UK but you can study with it for up to 30 days. You should note that studying must not be the main reason for your visit if this is to be allowed. You need to book an online appointment for your visa application. Your biometric information (fingerprints and photograph) will be taken at your appointment. You must declare to customs if you are entering the UK with more than 10,000 euros (or its equivalent) in cash. The earliest you can apply for the Standard Visitor visa is 3 months before the date you plan to travel.

A South African visitor visa is issued to individuals who want to travel to visit friends and families, for leisure and sight-seeing. An invitation letter from your host in South Africa containing the address and contact details of the host should be submitted. The host should attach to the letter proof of residence in South Africa. The generally accepted proof is a utility bill. Certified copies of the host’s identity copies will also need to be submitted. If the host is a Foreigner in South Africa, a copy of the passport and the permit legalizing a stay in South Africa must also be attached. Applicants are required to have a self-introduction letter with a physical address and phone number. All applications should be done through VFS which incurs an additional service fee of N25,200 for Lagos and Abuja applicants. There is no exemption for VFS Service charge. The visa fee in Naira is as per the current exchange rate. It is subject to change without notice. Tourist visa is solely for the purpose of leisure travel including vacationing, cruising, sightseeing and other recreational activities. Studying of partaking in business is illegal. The visa will allow you to travel to a South African port of entry where an immigration official will then determine if you are allowed to enter South Africa and for how long you can stay for that particular visit. Visitors are restricted to the activity or purpose for which their visas were issued.  Frequent visitors to South Africa to apply for a three-year multiple entry visa. Applications must be submitted in person. According to the amended South African Immigration Act 13 of 2002, foreign nationals overstaying the expiry of their South African visas will be determined undesirable and, consequently, face being banned from the Republic for a period of up to 5 years.

Trinidad and Tobago issues this visa to individuals who intend to travel for recreation, vacation and sight-seeing purposes. If you want to visit friends or relatives, attend ceremonies or festivals then you are also eligible for this visa. Two copies of the application form signed by the applicant along with 2 recent passport photographs are required. For those travelling for visitations, an invitation letter from the host in Trinidad and Tobago is required. The letter should state the host’s immigration status, the name, address and contact details also. The invitation must be official and those sent via email will not be accepted. Medical certificate showing that the applicant is free from contagious illnesses should be provided. A refundable payment of 560,000 Naira should be made as Security deposit to any Diamond bank. The applicant can request for a refund on the return to Nigeria. It takes a week to process the request and only the applicant can request and collect the refund. The Consul will give the applicant a letter of authorization to make the security bond deposit. After the deposit, the applicant is to return the slip in exchange for a receipt. All applications are to be done in person. Pay-slip or bank statement for three months before the application date is required. The originals plus two copies of all required documents are to be submitted. Visa can be extended for a maximum of 1 year from the entry date into Trinidad and Tobago. If you overstay your visa, it will be difficult to re-enter the country.

The United States visitor visa is issued to foreigners who want to travel to the united states for various short-stay purposes. Holders of this visa can go to the United States to conduct businesses, sight-see, tour and even to receive medical treatments. If you are going on tourism, you will be under the B-2 visa category while business travelers are in the B-1 category.  A U.S. visitor's visa is valid for 180 days (6 months) and can be extended for an additional 180 days. The maximum stay under a B1/B2 visa is 1 year. A letter from your employer in Nigeria stating your position at work, salary and that you would return to your job after the trip. The host company in The United States of America is to issue an invitation letter containing details of the business to be conducted between the applicant and the company. The company should also state if they would sponsor the trip and if not, who the sponsor would be. Before you would be granted a business visa to the United States, you must show that you have a clean criminal record from the last year. The B2 visa holders can go on tourism, visit friends and families in the United States, and attend ceremonies. If you want to receive medical treatment in the United States, these documents are required: A letter from your doctor in Nigeria, stating the illness, and previous treatments  A recommendation letter to the clinic in the United States stating possible treatments Letter of confirmation of appointment from the hospital in the united states containing the date of the appointment and duration of the treatment Bank statement not older than six months showing that the applicant has sufficient funds for the treatment.  All applicants are to have a yellow fever vaccination certificate. This visa cannot be used to study or take up any form of paid employment in the United States. It is important to have an accommodation reservation for the trip. It could be a hotel reservation, a rented apartment or with a host. Your host accommodating you would have to send you a letter in which the relationship between you and the host would be stated, the duration of your stay and contact details of the host. A detailed itinerary of your trip containing place(s) to be visited during your trip should be submitted to the Consul. Do not overstay your visa, if you do, you may be barred from returning to the U.S. for ten years or three years depending on the period of overstay. Visa overstays may be restricted from applying for Extension of Stay or Change of Status.
