This visa is issued to foreign nationals who have the intention of transiting through Germany to their destination country. Applicants of this visa should be in possession of the visa of the destination country. A confirmed flight ticket of the applicant’s destination country is required. Non-Nigerians residing in Nigeria are required to be in possession of a copy of their Nigerian residence permit. Minors applying for this visa should ensure they are in possession of the original copy of their birth certificate. A color copy of all previous Schengen visas should be provided. Holders of this visa are not allowed to take up permanent residence in the country. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

This visa is issued to foreign nationals who have the intention of transiting through Spain to their destination country. Applicants of this visa are required to be in possession of visa and other entry permits of the destination country. Flight ticket of the destination country should be provided. Holders of this visa are not permitted to take up paid or unpaid employment. If you are under the age of 18 years, the original copy of your birth certificate should be provided. You are not allowed to enroll to study in any of the academic institutions in the country. This visa cannot be extended. You are expected to leave the country on or before this visa expires.

You must remain in the airport’s international zone while waiting for the transfer to your flight destination. Visa and other entry permits to your destination country is required. Flight ticket of the destination country should be provided. There are three types of airport transit visa; a one-way ATV, a return ATV, and a multiple ATV. Holders of this visa are not allowed to work or be enrolled in any of the academic institutions in the country. Minors applying for this visa are required to be in possession of the original copy of their birth certificate. You are expected to leave this visa on or before this visa expires.

If they are traveling with one or none of their parents, a letter of consent signed by both their parents is required. Proof of payment of visa fee is required. You are expected to leave Portugal on or before this visa expires.

This visa allows you to board a connecting flight from an airport in Switzerland to your destination country. You are required to be in possession of the visa and other entry permits of your destination country. Flight ticket of the destination country should be provided. During your time in the country, you are not allowed to engage in business activities. Applicants who are under the age of 18 years should provide a copy of their birth certificate. If they are traveling with one or none of their parents, a letter of consent signed by both their parents is required. Proof of payment of visa fee is required. You are expected to leave Switzerland on or before this visa expires.

This visa is issued to foreigners who intend to make stopovers in the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic transit visa allows travelers to transit through the Dominican Republic to their destination country. Visa and other entry permits to the destination country are required. Flight ticket of the destination country should also be provided. Previously convicted criminals may not be granted entry into the Dominican Republic. A medical report which shows that you are free of any contagious disease should be provided. A receipt that shows that payment has been made for visa application is required. Under - aged children should ensure they submit the original copy of their birth certificate. This should be accompanied by a notarized consent signed by both parents of the minor.

This visa is meant for foreigners who have the intention of making short stops in Bhutan. Applicants of this visa may intend to board a connecting flight from an airport in Bhutan to their destination country. The visa and other entry permits of the destination country are required. Foreigners should ensure they have a flight ticket to their destination country. Traveling from Nigeria to Bhutan and from Bhutan back to Nigeria cannot be regarded as transit. The Transit Visa cannot be extended. Minors should ensure they have the original copy of their birth certificate and a letter of consent signed by both their parents. Foreigners should possess a certificate of vaccination against yellow fever. Proof of payment of visa application fee is required.

The Afghan transit visa allows Nigerians to pass through Afghanistan by land or by air. Your Nigerian passport must be valid for at least 6 months for you to apply for an Afghan transit visa. The transit visa is for one month and allows air travellers to stay for a maximum of 3 days while road travellers can stay for up to 6 days. You must have a valid visa for your next destination from Afghanistan. You must also provide a copy of your onward ticket to your next destination for you to apply for an Afghan transit visa. The single-entry transit visa costs $80 while the double-entry visa costs $150.

The Armenian transit visa is issued to foreign nationals who intend to travel through Armenia to their destination. Your Nigerian passport must be valid for up to 6 months. An onward ticket to your destination country must be provided to apply for the transit visa. You must also have valid entry visa to your destination from Armenia. The Armenian single-entry transit visa costs $21 while the multiple-entry visa which is valid for 1 year costs $37. The transit visa allows stay of up to 3 days but can be extended for a maximum of 4 days except in emergency cases. You must provide proof of payment of the visa fee. Travellers are advised to not overstay their visa as overstaying may attract penalties.

Nigerians who intend to travel through Equatorial Guinea to their destination must apply for a transit visa. You are required to have an onward ticket to your destination before applying for the Equatorial Guinea transit visa. You must also have a valid visa and other entry permits of your destination country. Applicants must also completely fill the visa application form and send 2 passport-size photographs along with the form. Applicants should note that the transit visa cannot be extended. If travelling with minors, they are required to present their original birth certificate. An international certificate of vaccination for yellow fever is also required from each applicant. Nigerians who will be joining a crew ship in Equatorial Guinea are eligible for the transit visa. You must provide proof of payment of the visa fee.

The Japan transit visa is issued to travelers who want to proceed to another country through Japan. A detailed flight itinerary issued by the airline company is required. A visa to the next destination must be submitted alongside a valid passport.  Applicants are allowed a stay of 24 hours. If the stay goes beyond 24 hours, they are expected to submit a letter of guarantee from a resident in Japan or proof of sufficient funds to stay in Japan for the short period. Airlines in Japan may deny you boarding for transit if you don’t have the required travel documents for an onward destination in Asia or if your passport does not have six months of validity remaining Applicants are not allowed to tour with this visa.
